Jamie Morrison's 2026 commit, Gabi Rodriguez from Celeste, Texas, has been named to the 2025 U19 National Team. Rodriguez is one of the top players in the state of Texas and one of the top liberos in the entire class of 2026, and she recently set the state record for most digs in a 5A state game. One of the assistant coach for the national team is Texas A&M volleyball legend Stacy Sykora! Coach Morrison continues to recruit the state of Texas at a high level, and his 2026 class will build on his top 5 recruiting class in 2025, and Rodriguez is a huge piece of that momentum.
USA Volleyball announced the 19 athletes on the 2025 U19 Girls National Team who will prepare for the 2025 FIVB Women's U21 World Championship, Aug. 5-18, in Surabaya, Indonesia.
These rising stars will participate in a training block from July 27 to Aug. 4 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. From this group, 12 athletes will be selected to form the final competition roster. The U.S. will compete in Pool B at Worlds, where it will face China, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Korea and Croatia.
