Any insights that are shareable in an open forum on Carlson? I know literally zero about her other than this is her 3rd school. Makes me question some things but again, I don't know her situation at all.
We honestly haven't kept up with her personally since she graduated from LJ. She was an very sweet girl as we knew her. My wife was part of the coaching staff (specifically setters) at LJ both middle school and high school from 2016-2021 so she had Averi from 7th grade to 12th grade. I think these days with the open transfers, kids are just more willing to move if they have any dislike with the current program.
We really wanted to go tonight both to watch our Ags and see her play, but just couldn't make it happen between work and getting down from McKinney.
Thanks for that little glimpse. We follow a few girls in the D1 ranks that we know from club/school ball so it is always interesting to know a little about who they really are as well as their family behind the player. Some good, some not so good but every girl has their own journey...which can be said of any athlete.
