That'd be nice but an immediate impact MB might be difficult to draw in with our current starting two but a depth piece there would be ideal

Because of the X post I'm assuming there has been a verbal agreement with a player to sign with us but the signing cannot be done and announced until May 1st.

So that essentially removed our last area of concern right? Assuming the setting improves. Did it say the MB will be here for this season?
I'm trying to find more info about her, but she seems to have been on Serbians youth national teams, she last players in their U21 team at 17 years old! Her wingspan looks huge lol
Here's the write up on the addition, all signs are pointing to her arriving in the fall! Jamie played against her in the U19 championship in 2023. She must have been 16 and left a great impression! Jamie seems pumped!

It provides the depth we were lacking at the position! And a piece in the middle to build on for the future!!
Looking ahead we'll have a great Libero in Addi Applegate and our commits Gabi Rodriguez and Jenna Thedford. We're set at this position for a long time! We'll have some outstanding outsides in Kyndall Stowers, Megan Fitch, and Taryn Morris to go with commits Sara Bowcutt and Brooke Lacewell. In the middle we'll have Stanojevic, and commit Lolufe Adedeji! Setter we'll have Margot Manning and Kirra Musgrove. Having a team with 10 seniors we're going for something big this year, and having to replace all that would be scary, but Jamie and staff have a plan and it's looking pretty promising!!! I'm excited for Aggie volleyball, especially excited for this fall, but lots to look forward to beyond!

That'll give us the potential to add around 4-6 transfers this next offseason!! To go with the young talent and our hopeful success this following season. We can keep the trajectory of Aggie Volleyball going upwards!!! If you're not following this program right now, I suggest you do so

Look at women's tennis and softball, they are bringing a business like, professional mindset. Morrison is changing the mindset from this is the end of the road, to we are preparing you for the professional ranks. This middle addition showcases that.

The international players I've watched have been solid - especially in the aspects where repetition is key. CSU had a freshman last year from Spain and she wasn't necessarily more polished in all aspects but she was definitely above average serving. In Europe at her academy or whatever they call it she spent hours every day just serving.
Like women's tennis & golf, I wouldn't mind a majority team of Europeans, etc. Recruit to win a title. Love it.taylorswift13_ said:

It isn't 2000 anymore. VB has been in Reed for while

From the article on Stanojevic: "45 service aces" last year. That level of serving would be a nice add. In addition to the 130 kills and 89 blocks.

And Jamie is on record saying he doesn't want a venue smaller than Reed. He wants to sell out Reed, and then maybe play a game in Kyle.
I'll do my part on this site and social media, but this will be most attended volleyball season in Aggie history!!
