We really need this match. USD is unranked and lost to LSU 4-0 winning 2 sets across singles and doubles when the match was stopped.

This match is in our hands. We have the better players at 1 and 3. Lexington is playing a bit loose and if she can tighten and focus she will be fine. Mia needs to grind. That's her strength.

LSU on paper is the better team this year. We will get stronger though.

I know it's unlikely but if Nicole could get healthy for NCAAs we all of the sudden become very dangerous adding Nicole #1 and Amariei as top 4.

Her doubles results are pretty good too. Clearly need help there.

Had a small wrap on her knee and seemed to be favoring it. Can't think it was too serious to have her out there before ITAs but didn't love seeing it.

Anna looked a step slow, too, but didn't have a wrap.

I'm not sure what to make of the lineup. The way it currently looks is that you'd have to imagine that everyone from 3 down moves down a spot. That would put Daria at line 6 which is kind of crazy to think. Violeta at 5, Lex at 4, and then a tossup for 1,2,3. Mia has been playing very well at 1 and just gets stronger and stronger as the season wears on. Lu has shown why her UTR is consistently climbing. She's playing very good tennis currently.

Doubles - it seems that Mia and Lu are set to play together. Anna and Violeta are a good pair. IDK anything after that. Have a feeling it will be Lexington and someone...?

Also would like to point out how impressive Lexington has been to jump from line 5 to line 3. Mia from line 3 to 1. and Lu from 4 to 2. Just ballers.

To be fair, sounds like the recruiting has been amazing! It's our own academic and language hurdles that are limiting the staff

I have some similar thoughts. Has Amariei been enrolled since the semester started on January 12 and we were waiting on some paperwork to clear? How much athletic eligibility does she have?

MARIETTA, Ga. The Texas A&M women's tennis team's 2026 signing class earned a No. 2 national ranking from Tennis Recruiting Network, the organization announced Monday.

"We are very excited about next year's class of newcomers," Weaver said. "It's a very strong and deep class. We are very optimistic about the future of our program, and the 12th Man will have a lot of new faces to follow and a lot to look forward to. We already know how talented they are, but it's great to see them get recognition from outside the program."

The Maroon & White continues to rank among the nation's elite under head coach Mark Weaver, who enters his 11th season leading this program. Since 2016, the Aggies have produced seven recruiting classes ranked among the nation's best by Tennis Recruiting Network, including No. 2 rankings in 2018, 2021 and now 2026, along with a No. 3 ranking in 2022.

The 2026 class is highlighted by No. 91 Ruby Cooling, who competed at both Wimbledon and the US Open Junior Championships in 2025, and No. 47 Yoana Konstantinova. Kori Montoya, the designated the No. 1 recruit in Texas and the Gulf States by Tennis Recruiting Network, headlines the signees, while five-star blue chipper Rachael Smith rounds out the class.

In determining the top recruiting classes each year, the Tennis Recruiting Network reaches out to junior tennis experts, reporters and writers from across the nation in formulating a top-25 poll. Each panelist submits a ballot with 25 teams ranked in order, with the No. 1 team earning 25 points, the No. 2 team earning 24 points and so on.
