My neighbor's front lawn is immaculate and well-manicured. Mine is not unkempt by any means and I mow it once a week but it looks very average next to my neighbor's. He can turn it down and notch and not make me look so bad.

I have a neighbor who is old and fat and retired and is always out in his yard watering or doing some kind of work. Annoying part is he always wears headphones and apparently listens to music and likes to sing out loud. I know it's a harmless thing and I'm kind of an ass, but it just drives me up the wall and pisses me off.

I hate to be 'That Guy', but I think I'm with your neighbors on this one. No one wants to look at a trash can sitting out in the open. I assume by your "summer in Texas" comment you mean that it smells up the garage? Why don't you blast it out with your water hose and a squirt of dish soap? Or put it on the side of the house behind the fence.
Assuming they pick up your trash 1-2 times/week, there shouldn't be any smell unless you're constantly throwing away raw fish or something.

We live on the left side at the end of a cul de sac. Both neighbors on the right side at the end of the cul de sac blow their grass clippings into the cul de sac, and guess where the wind blows those clippings?!?!
