Eso si, Que es said:

I agree it makes no sense for him to try and make a living as a thief, but maybe they set up season 2 where he needs to do a couple "jobs" to get his firm rolling or to get back at the art dealer.

The danger of getting caught by the law loses its luster a bit when he was already arrested and potentially facing life in jail for a murder in Season One. I'm in for S2 but feel this could have been wrapped up in a single season. Hope to get proven wrong as I like this show.

They're apparently gonna go there.
Quote:

"The joy of Season 2 is we can explore Sam independent of Coop and give her a new storyline," creator Jonathan Tropper says. "What she's done is something far more opaque and far more complicated to process. And it's not just complicated for her to process, it's complicated for the neighborhood to process. For her, a lot of Season 2 is, a kind of awakening of, 'It's not yours if you can't keep it.' And so it's how does she deal with the public scrutiny? How does she deal with reinventing herself in this community? And how does she deal with the emotional fallout of what she's been through?"

We're already checking our suspension of disbelief at the door on this show. As I said previously, whatever they go with to bring her back will be nonsensical.

This is Days of Our Lives with a high-end budget.

Just binged it over the last week or so. I enjoyed it. Fast paced, and I was never bored. The main characters were written with good depth, if an odd choice in writing here and there. Will be interested to see if they can take season 2 in a believable direction.

some of yall need every show to be Severance or GOT level of writing to enjoy it.

that show was awesome. Hot people, theft, violence, mystery, comedy. Very entertaining. loved it.

You can enjoy watching trash TV, while still commenting on why it made bad writing decisions that should have simply been better.

Lord knows I don't hold Game of Thrones up as a pinnacle of well written TV.

And I've watched enough episodes of Days of our Lives to know this matches that quality of writing.

Nothing wrong with saying "that entertained me for an hour but was still stupid.

I really liked it, but I don't think I would've made it past 2 episodes if Hamm wasn't at the helm. He's just awesome.

Barney was a solid character. I actually warmed up to Amanda Peet, but I've always disliked her since Saving Silverman (Judith escaped!). Maid was super hot and a good character but the brother storyline was dumb. The detective was super poorly written.

This show is great, the writing is also great. Not the plot or the characters but commentary on white collar and consumerism. Some of it is on the nose and some it is subtle.

The guys at the funeral talking about the loss of value in the house at the friend's funeral was hilarious.
