Just got in to Fort Worth for show. I try to only go to the metroplex once a year and this makes my 2nd trip so far. Better be a good show!!

I feel like every merch lines I've ever been to are crazy. Can't tell you how many times I've walked away because I just didn't wanna wait in the line.

Amazing show! Similar set list to night 1 in LA. Geddy sounded great (for Geddy!) Anika is the real deal. Alex was his awesome hilarious self.
There's a specific Texas tour shirt that I almost got but it's got a Longhorn on the front and just couldn't do it. Went with the traffic light, 2 birds and Neil flying way. Lines are much shorter at intermission so don't go at the beginning.

All of 2112 and still 5 from Moving Pictures with all of side one and Witch Hunt from side two just not consecutive.
Plus Anthem, Headlong Flight and Passage to Bangkok. Not to mention The Trees. And it is the only setlist that had Analog Kid from Signals and 2 songs from Counterparts (Animate and Leave That Thing Alone).

But I'm fine with LA night 3 as well - all of Moving Pictures and closing set 2 with the abbreviated 2112. Plus still get Anthem and Headlong Flight plus La Villa Strangiato.
I guess I just really don't want LA night 4 setlist - although that is the one they have not repeated yet. So it will probably be that.

That bookends it for me. I saw MP live originally many many moons ago.
Having said that I will be happy either way. Tuesday cannot get here fast enough. I'll be there rocking my R40 cotton rag. Assuming my fat ass can still fit it in. I'm a little afraid to try.

I still pull on my old 2112 shirt some days especially when its laundry day and nothing else is left. rides up a bit and tight across the shoulders. but i make it look good - my wife does not agree.
That show was amazing! I'm so happy that we decided to go.
We shelled out way too much money for the Closer to the Heart package to be in the first 12 rows but they gave a decent value with the giveaways and little extra touches and after seeing the show my wife and I both said it was worth it for this special event.
The Xanadu lounge before the show was like a traveling Rush museum and had a lot of cool props and memorabilia, plus some free food.

The reason that is surprising is because I remember paying $40 for a Metallica shirt in 1994.
So at least in the inflation department, concert t-shirts haven't gone up that much % wise in 30+ years.
$40 was ridiculous in 1994 dollars though.

I'm definitely considering buying Tuesday show last minute. Kinda depends which setlist I get Sunday.
I would take night 3 in a heartbeat. MP in sequence plus Xanadu, La Villa and By Tor. If I get that I will be one fan.
If looking for last minute - there were decent floor seats - rows 20-30 - released around 2pm yesterday for $369.

Went last night. Still marveling at what we saw. Few times got emotional watching these guys display their amazing craft at this age, and knowing I first saw them when I was a student at A&M in 1981 (Houston- Moving Pictures). It was surreal. Wife to be dropped a letter grade as she blew off a test to see the show with me!

Uhh…several replies to this post but I'm the first to ask where you want me to pick up the extra one you snagged for me…?!?
Fortunately I have a short fearless wife who usually navigates merch lines pretty efficiently. So hopefully our early access will help things a bit.

If your early access is from one of the VIP sections, they had a separate merch stand for it near the xanadu lounge, which was great.
Anika Nilles on the big screen. 6", 8", 10" Tama concert toms with Meinl timbale. Meinl cymbals , Tama bubinga kit. I think they were tuned a bit lower than Neil's. Lot's of deep end rumble. Snare was on the dry side (aluminum) with a bit of delay. Sounded great.
In the interview with Rick Beato, I think she says she tunes her drums a little differently because she doesn't have the physical strength of a normal male rock drummer.
Just watched that, she also say she has to play with more "feel".
The boys are looking like they made a great choice here. If they would have went the "expected" way getting a Danny Carey or Portnoy, fans would have been alot more judgmental, "Oh, he thinks he's Neil".

I saw Rush a few times 20+ years ago and it's still the best concert I've ever been to out of literally hundreds. I'm jealous of everyone getting to go. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through your pictures.
