This video clip makes me smile, cry and laugh. The joy on the faces of the eastern Catholic patriarchs/metropolitans is radiant.

I do not want to speak ill of the dead but contrast this with how our previous Holy Father treated people trying to kiss his ring.



The disgust and lack of joy or appreciation for the people who have been looking forward to kissing the ring of the vicar of Christ really soured me on the Francis pontificate from early on
