Okay, then, prepare to lose those votes in the midterm and beyond. If we cannot trust this administration to be straight with us about something so "trivial," there's no way in hell we can trust them with the truly important things. This goes for the Ds as well, since they also had their chance to release the information. But, then again, they never ran on a PROMISE to do so...
Because they are doing the things that most people care about a lot more than the Epstein files? That's why I trust them. They are doing what matters most.
What were the main reasons that you voted for Trump? Border? Crime? Economic ideas? Not Kamala? I don't know anyone that had "he is going to release the Epstein files" on their top 10 list of reasons to vote for Trump.
You still trust the government? How old are you?

Guess.
I was simply saying that Trump is doing a good job. He is doing the things I was hoping for when I voted for him.
No one voted for Trump over Harris because of anything related to the Epstein case.

Incorrect. For a decade- Trump has been talking about ending corruption, "draining the swamp", being transparent, and "locking her up". That's what alot of voters expected. This Epstein coverup is the exact opposite of all those things.

But can you trust the list if Maxwell is given a sweetheart deal to only name Trump's enemies? Or do you begin to wonder, did Trump give her a list of names to implicate in exchange for a pardon or commutation?

I refuse to believe that the corruption can go this far and be this blatant. If it does, it is well past time for the dissolving of the entire system.

Shut up with the questions.
The DOJ just blatantly lied to protect our Idiot in Chief yet again from being named a close friend (hopefully no more than that or this Country is about to blow up) of the most notorious Pedophile in history.
They've done so much lying now about this topic the public isn't going to rest until every single file is released and anyone that is guilty is buried under the jail. I hope the Government knows that at this point.
So which specific files should be released?
The ones that includes innocent names of associates?
Yes. At this point they have no choice. They've burned the bridge behind them. They're screwed now.
How did they burn a bridge? By associating with someone 20 years ago?
What about innocent people that worked for Epstein in minor roles 20 years ago? Anyone who did any business with him that had nothing to do with his sexual activities?
So you are saying that if I did some work for someone 20 years ago -- like designing his home or brokering a sale or handling stock purchase -- and he later turned out to be a pedophile, my name should be released to the pubic?
Here's what you're not understanding, the people are now out for blood and nothing is going to stop it. DOJ, Bondi, and Trump fubar'd this beyond belief.
Release everything. The FBI has all the information in the world and they know the difference between someone who once brokered a deal and was a friend and someone who was a VERY close friend. Our President seems to be in the latter category. Does that mean he's guilty of pedophilia? Of course not.
But they've screwed this up so badly that it doesn't matter. The way Trump came out kicking and screaming at his voters saying if you still care about this then don't vote for me tells you everything you needed to know about where this was going to end up. The well has already been poisoned with a lot of his supporters, it's over.
I understand 100%. I also don't trust the FBI.
I'm still trying to understand why it's OK for innocent names to be released after a criminal investigation is complete.
I had some very close friends 20 years ago that I don't see any longer. One of them went to prison earlier this year. Should my name be released if he went to prison for a sexual crime?
Did your friend's sex crimes take place when you were friends and paling around with each other?
Jeffrey Epstein was accused of sex trafficking and abusing underage girls in his homes in Manhattan, New York, and Palm Beach, Florida between 2002 and 2005.
Donald Trump's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein reportedly ended in 2004 following a dispute over a Palm Beach mansion.
My friend wasn't convicted of a sex crime. But I do know people that have been convicted of sex crimes. I see all sorts in the recovery community.
Innocent names should not be released after a criminal investigation is complete. IMO.
Becoming circular. We'll see what happens. I still don't think there's any way serious dirt on Trump has been kept quiet for so long.
The fact that NO ONE at the federal level has even bothered to interrogate Maxwell ought to prove to you how shallow any sort of "investigation" of this whole sordid affair has been.
INSANITY. And we have Trump bootlickers just playing Devils advocate
Who are the bootlickers?
I actually care very little about Trump with regards to this. He didn't do anything seriously wrong or it would have leaked years ago. But no doubt the only reason this is an issue is because people are hoping to get more dirt on Trump. IMO.
I just don't think innocent names should be released after a criminal investigation is complete. I'm unsure why that opinion is so controversial.

Agree to disagree. I think most Trump voters think he is doing a good job. I think very few people care about this topic. It matters very little in their day to day lives.

Grand jury materials are secret with very limited exceptions. Further, the federal judge in Maxwell's trial sealed a lot of the evidence used there.

Maybe not on this board I know 6 of my closest friends who voted for him are really pissed off and I think it will impact their thought process during the midterms
And the podcast bros are flipping on Trump which will have a real impact on the sub 30 crowd
