God bless them and their marriages. Hope they can work it all out and stay together with their respective spouses. A healthy dose of Jesus and marital counseling goes a long way.

The speed with which these clowns ruined their lives is impressive.

Going to lose to a nasty divorce, get fired from their executive jobs and become almost unhirable in their current professions all at once.

Sadly, the amount of cheating within churches is far too high as well.

You are overestimating how dumb CEOs are. They are in a clique so are gaming the system.

I keep saying this but now people are finally getting it.

No one is perfect except for the One who died to take the place of our sins. Churches and churchgoers are no exception.

Nonetheless, a healthy dose of Jesus and marital counseling goes a long way in situations like these.

Found this.

She is off the hook for cheating, but sleeping with a married man is immoral (in my view). He cheated on his wife.

Quote:

Byron appears to be married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, while Cabot recently divorced her husband, Kenneth Thornby.

I am sorry man, but religion (all religions) have failed to bring about world peace or moral behavior. Just look around you and see what happens in the world. So called religious people are caught with their pants down all the time.

I had a person come to me in 2008 to convert me claiming that his book said the world will see peace. I said when, he had no answer. I told him to GTFO, world has never seen peace. Never will.

Well, if you look at it from the other angle, the "One" has not been able to reform man. Then what good is "He"?

CEOs give me a lot of material to laugh and jeer at them with their self-destructive ways.

Just you wait, there will be a few more in the next few weeks. Enjoy the ride.

You are right though, the "p" is undefeated and the cause for most conflicts in history/

Adultery should always be shamed. It is and always will be reprehensible behavior. Anyone who doesn't agree almost certainly has either engaged in it or has significant moral failings of their own.

There is a reason why it is one of the 10 Commandments.

Scarlet lettering the HR chick and public flogging of the CEO is probably a little too radical 1800s-ish.

As some suggested on the thread, Public Shaming? That is great and all until you and yours become the focus of attention.

In a small town this kind of thing takes care of itself in church, restaurants, social gatherings. People disassociate from scummy actions. On a nationwide stage, it gets out of hand quickly and influencers make their daily wage off of other's misery.

I am of the opinion that adultery should be punished with jail time as a criminal act.

He was never going to "reform" man. That's not why He was sent.

He was sent to save man because we can't be reformed. We are all sinners, but while we were still sinners he died for us so that we may live.

Look past this life and this world for the life and the world to come. THAT is what He came to do...to make it possible for us to live with Him in the resurrection.

There was no way possible to make us not be sinners in this life. That is why he had to die in our place, so we could be without sin in Him and be resurrected in his Glory for the life to come.

IDEA!

Can the CEO sue ColdPlay for mental anguish?

A good way for him to make some coin from this since he will get fired anyway and his wife will divorce him and hopefully take 110% of his money.

There is no way this was the first time. With it being publicly outed in a viral manner there is no option for the spouses of each but to divorce. Otherwise they will get endless amounts of scorn themselves. As it is they will probably get it regardless. People have already found their social media profiles and posted it there.

There is no way either marriage survives this.

It's ironic that if they had simply stood there and smiled and did nothing or even gave her a kiss on the cheek, the clip doesnt go viral and no one is the wiser.

By noping out and hiding and having Chris call it out in front of an audience of tens of thousands, well...

Better than most 47 year olds. But if you're CEO, you should be cheating with the 24 year old receptionist not your head of HR.

I think that is a lot of the problem with church. They are trying to reform people rather than just help them find and deepen a relationship with Jesus. Then you have the next circle of people that the church has tried to reform, that have the same perceptions as infinity ag.

But Jesus did the opposite. He lived the perfect life and then died a sacrificial death on our behalf so we can receive the grace of eternal life without reformation. Now, most people (I've never met personally met anyone otherwise) live a more reformed life have receiving that kind of unconditional love. Notice I say more reformed and not reformed... we are still sinners and never perfected. But God loves us anyway.

To an extent maybe. I personally know two couples who reconciled after one partner in the marriage committed adultery. It's a difficult path forward but not impossible. It takes one of them to do whatever it takes to hold things together until the other one comes around.
