I'd be curious what game you'd give an A+ for for music if not this.
I think generally the music is great and certainly can understand why some love it. Personally, obviously my opinion, I grew tired of it after a while. It was an A+ for me at first but by the end of the game, I turned it down a notch. Some of the battle music added to the atmosphere but a lot of times sounds a little "too much" or sometimes out of place.A is A said:

Tried Simon last night. Kind of feel annoyed by it. The jump in difficulty level is extreme with his moveset pretty much negating most tactics. I'm no stranger to tough bosses (from software) but Simon feels cheesy. Will basically just have to find the right skills and chemistry to take him down faster. Are we expected to counter every hit? Got blown away in phase 2. How many hits in a row does he get?FatZilla said:

The From Software motto "hard but fair" is a tough balance to achieve and very few games get it.
Anyway, still loved the game. Will probably play it through one more time just to go through the story again now knowing all the twists and turns.
I think I was ok tinkering here and there until part 3. But all of a sudden, was one shotting everything. I wasn't striving for the massive damage but once the damage cap was lifted, the game became too easy.Madmarttigan said:
Think the combat got a little old for me and repetitive, fizzled out in act 2 but I'm notoriously bad at finishing single player games.

For those that have the game but didn't get the collector's edition, a "Monolith Edition" just opened preorders. It is all of the physical items from the CE, but no game or cosmetic DLC. Also pricey, especially with shipping!

Will be ordering one. Don't care how much it is. People need to support good game devs like this instead of throwing more money at Activision for the latest ridiculous call of duty skin.

Lune with 100% crit is a monster. Once you get dmg break and cheater you can nuke everything in round 1. Attack to generate all 4 color stains and then nuke on attack 2 that uses all 4 stains.

She is a beast. She was my highest damage dealer until Maelle got her third gradient ability. I was using Mayhem on everything until I discovered how much damage Hell does.
Start turn first turn with 9 AP, cast Hell. If anything survives, start second turn with just enough AP to shoot 3 times and then cast 4 stain Mayhem on the survivor.
