Lake Travis just hit 660 this morning.
I remember when I lived in that area for a few years I tracked Lake Travis water elevations religiously, didnt want to see any islands popping up during summer boating season. Also, Carlos N Charlies was more fun when we could drive the boat right up and tie off then walk up. good times

Flood gates at LBJ are open, Buchanan is about a foot from full pool, lots of water will be flowing into Travis in the coming days.

Just left the marina after checking on our boat. They said they expect Lake Travis to go up 6-8 feet.
No real debris in the water, but water was not clear.

We need some clear weather for a while for the lake to clear up. I am out of town but I understand Lago got quite a bit of rain again today.

Floodgate operations from Lake Buchanan today. LCRA opened a total of four floodgates at Buchanan Dam on July 14 – the first floodgate operations there since May 2019. This coordinated response helps manage significant water inflows across the Highland Lakes system. pic.twitter.com/QPTA7QDWfP

Monday 9:48 PM: Not the news folks wanted to hear, but another night of localized, but heavy storms is possible in the Hill Country and northern Edwards Plateau. Any new rain would likely cause additional flooding. Weather forecast update: https://t.co/GUvKSSAcNt #TXwx
