From 2018 thru 2023 the tax rate drifted ever so slightly downward, that was due to the restriction that the county's total revenue could only go up by 3.5% annually without voter approval. When the tax base gets raised by 10% almost across the board, the only way to limit total revenue is to reduce the tax rate.Diggity said:
