You'd think there would be a little more transparency, that we would have insight into how many were investigated as homicides or confirmed to be such. Typically it's pretty easy to determine homicide victims from suicide/accidental drowninig victims. Has anyone seen a breakdown of how many were believed to be murdered?

Everything is deadlier than ICE. You literally have to try to kill an ICE officer, or make them legitimately fear for their life to be at risk of being harmed by one.

And that's why they drop it off the news quickly. There's no grieving family looking for answers. When they are about to identify, if they find a next of kin it's just likely a disinterested sibling that thanks the officer for their time and the closure but that they wrote the person off years ago and always knew this phonecall would come over day
