I don't know. I think we've learned the long, hard lesson that it is all about the HC. And if you can lure a proven HC away then and be successful then that investment will have great return. The fully guaranteed concept might start to fade though, as it should.SunrayAg said:
I think the market is going to figure out that there is no such thing as a "can't miss" splash hire, and the insane contracts to lure coaches are going to moderate.
Especially in an era when you can openly spend the money on players.
An up and coming young coach and a high dollar roster are going to turn out to be a better investment than a 9 digit coach.
