I think he makes a good point. And it's not guaranteed after paying these massive buyouts that you will hire a homerun. Maybe that's why A&M went with a middle of the road contract when hiring Elko. What happens in four years if LSU or Penn St needs to fire the next guy because it didn't work out? Are their donors going to indefinitely fund massive buyouts until they find their guy?
