You don't think his drop off this season had anything to do with his injury?

He'd be the Jorginho replacement and also allow Zubimendi some adjustment time as he adapts to the system.TXAggie2011 said:chjoak said:

He had a good season. He's not perfect and he's not the answer for every game and game state but I'd like to see him come back for another year. I don't know if you give him 2 years or try to get a 1+1 year mutual option or something along those lines
I couldn't disagree any more. He's a physical liability both on and off the pitch.TXAggie2011 said:chjoak said:

Without digging into the rest of it, MLS is our clear preferred left back. His two backups are our likely preferred starting right back and a player who was injured multiple times this season.Quote:
I get that we can't let both he and Jorginho go without having backup for Zubimendi, but I'd much rather give MLS a shot at 6 rather than march Partey out there again
maybe, maybe not. Spanish media that reported that (a) was the same one that reported Real was hijacking Zubi and (b) they had no evidence of Newcastle actually contacting Garcia or his people.wangus12 said:
Sounds like no Joan Garcia. He's probably going to Newcastle

This is a graphic I have wanted to try and make for a while and I like the way it turned out. I wish I had the unused sub data here but it's not integrated but overall I don't think missing that hurts too much. pic.twitter.com/xpeyxPfPrs
