If anybody else but Hojlund, Rice's tackle would've been game saving. But Hojland sucks so he wouldn't have scored even if Rice didn't make that tackle.

Odegaard's one footedness has really cost him in this game

If you say you hate the state of politics in this nation and you don't get involved in it, you obviously don't hate the state of politics in this nation.
Mmmm, not happy with the capitulation in yet another season. Know injuries have been impactful, yet 3rd season in a row where last few months are proving all the difference.
Arsenal will have to figure out how to manage the grind of the epl next season, because it won't get any easier.
As said prior, here's to hoping the CL run continues!

Odegaard needs to fix his shooting boots. He was nails last year, but this year it seems every shot is this little dribbler with no power. We have got to figure out how to break down these low blocks.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you.... Look at City. 1 injury to a key spot (Rodri) and they slipped considerably. We had an awful squad when Mikel arrived. He was able to build a top 4 starting lineup quickly but now we need quality depth. Look at FB for example. We have a 2 deep at each FB spot that can both technically be a starter. I'm not expecting that kind of depth at ever position but to truly be competing for #1 plus CL we need guys on the bench that are capable of stepping up and starting without the team missing a beat. Again, look at City. Outside of Rodri they have almost a full 2 deep that could start for most teams in the league. Hell they have atleast 1-2 bench players right now that we could easily plug into our starting lineup.AggieRob93 said:

I said it a few weeks ago..... I think he came back before he was 100% and is just now getting fully back into fitness/form. His shots are still a little off but they were significantly better today and his passing/movement have been better the last several games.wangus12 said:

He seems burnt out. I have also heard the chatter and have noticed myself how thin the guy looks. I have no idea if those have anything to do with each other.wangus12 said:

I think he is always going to go through some periods where finishing isn't great, but he all around just doesn't seem quite right.
Thank goodness there are not any international tournaments for him this summer! I think he really needs a break.

I think he's all but already gone.
But I do really wish he would have been given the appearance, would have been a feel good moment for him and a nice reward for working hard and working his way through our ranks.
If's he's the best youth option that we have to ride the bench, that also speaks volumes about our youth development/recruitment of STs.
I mean our 2 best youth attacking players coming into the year were Nwaneri and Obi Martin. Ethan has moved up and Martin moved for a big pay day from United (and has made appearances recently and looks rough).

Our offense would never score against Atleti. At least Madrid tends to be more open at the back. Problem being that our defense that used to be so good has been leaky recently.
Some rumors floating about that Berta may be hitting the ground running. Supposedly he has stalled Zubimendi discussions a bit and is looking at alternatives. Names I have seen are Morten Hjulmand from Sporting and Bruno G from Newcastle. Hjulmand is rumored to be available for 20m euro less than Zubi's release and Bruno is rumored to have a 60m release clause (10m more than Zubi) if Newcastle fail to make CL.
Digging more. The Bruno G rumor came out of Spain and is actually suggesting we would sign Zubi + Bruno. Orny says he doesn't see that happening but that is gut feelings, not facts. Also the Bruno G release is supposedly a handshake agreement with Newcastle. If they fail to make CL they agree to sell him for 60m GBP.
