I am really curious if we wait until March of next year to fire him and allow another portal crisis and mass departure to ensue and further sink this program. If Alberts is really concerned about the money, I'm really scared of what's going to take place. It'll be interesting if we wait or if we just fire him sometime in November or once the season ends. I'm sure he'll have excuses galore, but we can't just watch this program sink further and further.

Also still baffled how he talked someone into giving him an extension right after a 3 win conference season and sneaking into the tournament and losing 3-1 against tu in 2022

I'm heartbroken for the state of this program and scared for the future. I really hope the next coach has the capability of turning this around quickly. We need someone that's going to bring in some players and attract Texas talent. Club coaches are warning players not to come here. There's so much talent in state and they're all going to Austin or Fort Worth or out of state to other SEC schools.

Hopefully he'll announce his "retirement" in a ceremony on Nov. 15th, just before the SEC tourney starts cuz I don't expect A&M to be in it.

Might as well announce it now so he can get some nice gift baskets from the opponents every game of his farewell tour

the worst team Ole Miss played a senior lineup against us and started girls who had never started before on their Senior day… and we lose nearly 20 girls from that team so I'm sure it'll be a dog fight for 15th just like the epic battle for 15th in women's basketball this past season
