That player was offside at the moment it was played. Freeman was clearly onside. Balogun was in an OS position but he didn't play the ball or impact play. Even though the Aussies say he did.

From the replays, the upper body/shoulders of the Iranian player were in front of the last Belgian defender at the moment the ball was kicked. Unlike ours, where he was noticeable behind

There are a bunch of rules about how the players have to behave when they're in a wall. Iran pushed off and had too many players in the wall to be that tight.

On our goal, many people saw one of our players massively offsides during the Freeman header, but he didn't touch the ball, so it wasn't applicable, freeman was about 3 foot onside.

I hate goals being called back for being fractionally offside. He wasn't gaining an unfair advantage, he reacted faster.

Unfortunately for Taremi and Iran, he did too many squats and his ass is marginally offside. He's the one at the top

Well, then it becomes where do you draw the line? Its easier to just declare offsides if any part of you is rather than get into a debate of distance if they decided to make it 6 in, 12 in, etc.
