I think he was just in over his head. He was probably the lowest level ref here. He had his one game and should not get another. Hopefully.

He was not just missing calls but he was playing loose and fast with the Laws and making technical errors refs at this level should not make. And Egypt won because NZ isn't very good.

Yeah I don't see any either. At the end of the day, I'd imagine the majority of people in the stadium are Egyptian and Iranian fans. I doubt your typical pride supporting Seattle soccer fan is gonna go full bore. Just isn't worth the risk outside the stadium as well
