Luka on the Lakers is more valuable to the league thus more valuable to the Mavs long term, so they just had to make it right. Flagg and AD and the #1 isn't terrible.
Doesn't matter. Does it matter at all if the league is rigged and now you know it? My love of the NBA just took a major hit.

Cooper Flagg in the best case scenario still isn't Luka. He may very well end up being a 25/10/5 player but he simply can never be the type of singular ball dominant terror Luka is. And his defense is also suspect as well.

It's clearly the former. It explains the terrible trade and the very stupid explanations. Nico had been a brilliant GM for years and then makes the worst trade of all time? It made no sense until tonight.
