Some of the fouls called this game and in other games around the league have been so ****ing soft.
It's a shame the league decided to switch back from the adjustment they made the second half of the 23-24 year. It's an objectively worse product when they're calling this stuff.

I think Wemby's main challenge is going to be staying in the lineup. These freak of nature bodies love to break down.

Terry Rozier and Chauncey Billups arrested by the FBI for illegal gambling. Looks like Terry's may be basketball related and Billups is unrelated poker stuff.

The Good News definitely got worse. I only watched the first quarter. We're 33 points worse than the Spurs without DeAaron Fox?

Knowing what we know now, yeah kinda. At least for game 1 of this NBA season.
The experiment of Flagg at the 1 didn't work. It could work eventually, but it will be a tough watch for now. He just wasn't prepared to go against players like Castro and Vassell.
Add to that Wemby just is that dude now and he completely broke the game with his rim deterence and getting Lively and PJ in foul trouble early. And he made every shot he wanted over both Lively and AD. When you are so tall and skilled that you render All Defense contenders useless then you have to just tip your cap. And a large part of our offense will be Lively and AD, well Wemby can just negate that entirely.
It was a combination of a bad matchup with Wemby being an animal now, Mavs still trying to flesh out their identity and work out a new offense, and guys just played poorly.

and cooper was playing with a lot of hesitance. I'm confident he'll find his way soon....it was a quick transition at Duke. The lack of shooting scares me though. I definitely underestimated our needs there. My guess is we'll be trading for a shooter at some point.

91 FTs in the OKC-IND game tonight with SGA shooting 26… Who wants this?

Too many players still get the call when the offensive player initiates the contact to create space. SGA is certainly one of them.
Too be clear, I don't have an issue with an offensive player bumping a defensive player to create space. I just don't think the defensive player should be called for a foul.
