What's the definition of soft?

Getting a post removed saying how soft you are. Jesus, Arlington.

I'm guessing you are referring to the gif that went around the site's word filter? If so, mods remove those automatically. But keep crying, I guess

Didn't see it so you may be right. But it's also correct that Rangerette fans flag images all the time on the Astros thread.

Mods don't look at things unless they are flagged.

If I am a Ranger fan, I worry this little hot spell is going to ruin their chance of retooling and trying again next season. It won't be a lot, but you can get something for Corbin, Martin, Gray, and others.

Rangers thru June 30: 41-44
The hot spell: 15-6
Back to normal: 5-11

You're falling for the same thing I warned you about in July.

Really no need for that. It's not like he was rude.

Hey Arlingtonians, the Astros are bending over backwards, imploding in the clubhouse, and begging you to put them out of this misery.

The team that makes the playoffs might end up the bigger loser. lol.

Nope. Everybody is pretty much healthy (minus Hader).

We just have the worst offensive approaches, can't score runs unless it's a HR, and if we get down by 2 runs or more it's a surrender

I disagree
  • Meyers
  • Paredes
  • Caratini
  • Hader
  • Sousa
  • Blanco
  • Wesneski
That is still a significant number of key players on the IL.

Paredes is a huge blow as he basically led the league in number of pitches seen per plate appearance, a category we absolutely SUCK at.

Abreu has stepped up nicely for Hader and that hasn't cost us...yet.

Meyers absence hurts because it's forced us to play Dubon just about every game and he's not a full-time player, just a decent utility guy.

Outside of Hader, most of those guys sound pretty replaceable but Paredes was having a career year.

I don't understand why they would sit Alvarez unless they felt he wasn't going to be a factor vs. Fried.

Paredes is a top 5ish offensive 3B over the last 3-4 years. To downplay him is silly.

Jake was having a career year. He's been a great defensive and offensive CFer before injury.

Sousa is a high leverage arm. He was sharing the closer spot with Abreu after Hader went out.

Blanco was our #4 and Wesneski was our #5 to start the season.

You come off as ignorant when talking about our players.

1. Paredes Top 5? I'd let is slide with top 10 with 10 being about the highest he's rated.
2. Jake Myers is a jag who was having a good year. Astros fans hated him before this season.
3. Sousa, Another jag having a career year that no one's ever heard of.
4. Blanco, coming off a career year that predictably dropped back down to earth and got inured.

Paredes is the only guy you've listed that worth a damn to the rest of the mlb.

Oh good lord. Paredes is career .237 and was batting .259. That's a career year. Good for him, nice signing by Dana.

If you're hanging your hat on meyers and wesneski then you're asking a lot of those guys.

Numbers don't lie. Sorry you're not familiar with him.

23-25 wRC+ 3B
1. Devers 134 (doesn't really count)
2. JRam 130
3. Muncy 129
4. Paredes 127
5. Bregman 124
6. Machado 120
7. Riley 118
8. Chapman 116

13. Jung 105
14. Smtih 102

Jake was on pace for a 4.3 WAR season. In the entire history of the Rangers, there have been 2 players to play CF and reach 4.3 WAR in a single season. Yes, it was a career year but just because he's not a perennial All Star, doesn't make this season less meaningful.
