Or you could use WAR and see how far behind he is as an overall player. Nobody in baseball ranks Paredes over any of the guys on that list. But like I've said twice, the guy is having a great season and it was a smart trade by Dana. $6 million for that guy vs. $40 million for Bregman. No brainer.

Fact is, with us throwing Kelly and deGrom, if we don't win at least 2 of 3 we don't deserve to make the playoffs anyway. We've had a decent level of control in 6 of the 7 games and only won 4 of them.
