I hear you, but man did he lose ALOT of money with his dismal 2nd half performance. Not to mention the bad look of the Salazar deal.
Something like 7/250 to now something for much less and maybe even a 1 year deal somewhere.
He took a hit to be sure, but he's still top 7 in innings pitched in MLB with 192, is tied for the league lead on complete games, and is top 7 in HR per 9 innings pitched.

He's going to get paid, and that last 7 inning gem when we were all but out of reach shows teams he hasn't completely lost the plot.
