I'd choose the Sprott etfs (PSLV and PHYS and CEF) over anything like GLD or SLV.

Just keep an eye on Treasury auctions. That recent 10yr auction the other day went over like a lead balloon. Fewer and fewer are buying our debt. The Treasury is lucky to be pulling n a few dollars due to tax season. Once tax season is over, and the gov't needs spending money, that well is going to look mighty dry.
