After a quick Google, looks like you can play in up to 30% of the games and still qualify for a medical redshirt, which is what I assume happened for Miles in his last year at Troy.

That's a good rule. It's really dumb that a regular redshirt is burned in basketball after 1 game.

Hypothetical, if we added Solo/Wilcher level role players to fill out the roster (4-6 pt/game basically) could we get to within a game +/- of .500 in conference?

Obviously I don't think we're done, but what are the vibes with the talent we've brought it so far?

I think everything depends on how well these guys that haven't played together before can execute buckys system. I can see a good amount of wins if the offensive system and press are ran well and we just simply shoot really well from three. Also a solo type role player would be great for us imo, someone to lead the defense

We're just getting started but a solid Big 3 with a back court of Jacari Lane (17.3 ppg, 40% from 3) and Duke Miles (9.4 ppg, 43% from 3, 17.5 ppg the year prior) to go with a 6'9 forward in Mackenzie Mgbako who can score at all 3 levels. We have a lot to build on! Let's get some elite perimeter defenders and a big time center with size!! I'm absolutely impressed at the recruiting, organization, and excitement Bucky has brought to Aggieland!! With the potential to add anywhere from 6-8 more players, this will be exciting to see who else we add!!

Yeah, I definitely don't think we're limited necessarily in who we can add, at least as much as it seemed in previous years. We'll still have role players, but it feels like overall our roster will be more diverse in skill set/use cases. And we'll be able to run different things based on our strengths versus hoping that ISO ball will save us. Individual matchups will still be important, but I hope that the new team will be greater than the sum of its parts (one thing that I hope will carry on from previous teams).

I'm so excited for next season!

These guys think he'll probably only get a little over 3 mil, so maybe there is a chance. Someone in the comments said he turned down 3 mil from Memphis.

I had no idea there were college basketball players making this kind of money on par with the biggest names in CFB.

Did a quick google search and see Cooper Flagg is making 4.8 million. Not sure how accurate that is but insane if true. Almost as nuts as what Haggerty wants.
