I think we need a starting quality big man and 2 more quality guard/wings that can shoot. After that you just take the best available players.

I really like those highlights of Vinson...much more impressive than what I was expecting. Smooth looking stroke, blocking tons of shots, athletic lob finisher. Maybe can contribute sooner than later.

Fed Fed highlights also better than expected. Looks like he has very little offensive game but looks like athletic lob finisher, rebounder and shot blocker...exactly what we need at this point.

Feeling more confident about this team combined with the guards we have committed

If we get 3 - 6'11 guys who can shoot, this team is going to be legit. If they can shoot as good as FL's bigs, we're golden.

Federiko Federiko will instantly become a fan favorite on name alone

So far Bucky/this staff seems to value length (or height perhaps) more than Buzz did. Buckyball style as I understand it would seemingly be more oriented to guards and quickness and shooting but here we are with 3 "bigs" signed . I suppose just because they are "bigs"doesn't mean they can't defend in a press , or work well in transition, or shoot but they'd be kinda unicornish if they can do all that. You need "bigs" to matchup with some teams for sure so I am definitely not complaining, it just has gone that way more than I expected so far.

Having said that there's no question it's too early to draw any kind of conclusions .

A couple of those bigs we added can shoot so that's a big plus.

I'm tired of every other team having big guys that can shoot 3's while we didn't even have guards that could shoot 3's.

It will be a very nice change to feel good about making them when we put up shots from downtown.

When was the last time (never) Buzz was bringing recruits around campus? Seems Bucky really is enjoying the environment and treating the job as what it is: a privilege, not an obligation

You could accuse Buzz of being many things, but a salesman isn't one of them. Maybe a preacher, but not a salesman.

Not saying that's all there is to recruiting, but it seems like it would be an important part.

What he did see last night at Blue Bell was 5300 rabid fans and 5 home runs in an Aggie win!
He also saw several players who will be in the big leagues soon.

Admittedly I haven't followed most of these players but I strongly feel any roster would benefit from the name Federiko Federiko on it.

It was my Buzz impression. Not to be condescending, or arrogant, but his punctuation directives will go down in the ANAL-s of time.

As will his pronunciation of annals.

I did not think about that. Fair point.

Generally agree as something was off with Buzz the last couple of years at A&M (something amiss for several reasons apparently).

It's become very evident as he's recruiting well at Maryland as just landed a top tier player SG (top 25 player) and other transfers (outside of robbing A&M of 4). He's already doing more there than he did at A&M IMO.
