Sounds like a good interview for TexAgs.

I can't believe it took just me tagging him in my group chat about the Pavia ruling, and him actually seeing it.

If he can contribute more than younger player, why wouldn't you want him on the team?

Somehow, he will still be slightly younger next season than Hayden Schott was this season.

Whaaaat.
That makes me wonder; who is the oldest player we've ever had. Is it Schott? How old is Schott anyway?

I would think Travis would be a candidate to wear #12.
I think Brauny mentioned that he believes #12 will be a thing of the past. I don't think they plan to continue it.src94 said:

I wouldn't since baseball doesn't mesh with a 12th man well…or even Yell Leaders for that matter…Mjo4548 said:I think Brauny mentioned that he believes #12 will be a thing of the past. I don't think they plan to continue it.src94 said:

So, some backstory: I'm in a group chat with around 40 people. We often discuss Aggie sports. In 2024, in Omaha, someone added some baseball players, but they obviously never responded. However, one day, Travis responded during the 2025 season when some people were criticizing the team. After that, he would pop in from time to time. During a game in March, we were discussing how Evan Ashenbeck got screwed over, especially after the Pavia ruling came out. I then remembered that Travis told us he was in DII at St. Edwards. I then tagged him, saying I thought he may technically have another year, and he responded, saying he didn't know. So I did some research and sent it to him. Went to the A&M vs t.u. game with him as he wanted to go, but didn't have a ticket, and I had an extra one. We discussed it further, and since then, he actually got it done. He is the epitome of hard work and a passion for the team. One of the nicest people I've ever met, and I'm delighted I got to meet him and learn a lot about baseball from him.![]()

Schotty turned 25 in May. He was the second oldest player in the NCAA last year
