I'm so excited and thankful for this forum!! If you couldn't tell lol! I'm a young Ag, only a little bit older than our senior class, and I know I have millions of games and matches of Aggie Sports to watch in my lifetime, but I've seen quite enough! I really we believe we have something special with Jamie Morrison. I had no idea who we was when we hired him, I saw a zoom interview on a volleyball podcast with him and I was just blown away with his love and enthusiasm for the game. Every time he speaks, his love for the game is infectious! He has a plan for this team, for this university. If you have the time try to attend a match, follow along on tv, follow along here. We have an excellent head coach, and excellent staff, and some excellent players! Even a great group of Ags on here who love this sport and love this team! I said after the sweet sixteen loss, that I was gonna do all I could to help grow support for this team and this is a step in the right direction! Let's continue to build and grow the Aggie Volleyball community, we have so much potential as a school and community!!! Thank you for making this forum, let's do this!!!!

This is a very active and knowledgeable volleyball page, saying A&M should be a top ten or top 5 team in the preseason rankings! Very high praise!! I think we absolutely have the making of a top 10 team! Let's break through the perceived bias of these traditional volleyball schools! Let's show the country what Texas A&M Volleyball is all about

Gosh, TS13, you've really been busy on the NEW volleyball page - wow and thanks !!

I think last year's 3-1 upset of #8 ASU and the really close 3-2 loss to powerhouse #7 Wisconsin in the tournament shocked the volleyball world and showed them what Jamie and the team are doing in Aggieland.

Those performances on the national stage, and so many returning players, led to the possible top 5 or 10 pre-season ranking. I think they certainly deserve it and they will do even better this year.

Yeah Kirra Musgrove is tall!!! Here's a team picture from a few weeks ago, she's on the right in the black shirt! She's standing next to 6'2 Megan Fitch and 6'3 Logan Lednicky! She's got height!! Her setting and being able to provide a block! She's gonna be a monster for us!

Also only two college volleyball players on the entire roster!! That's huge for Lednicky! She's going to get some valuable reps practicing with all these pros! If she can learn to receive a ball from these power hitters, then playing defense in the ncaa will be so much easier! As will having to swing around some of the best middle blockers in the world!! This experience will set her up for a monster senior year!!!!

The Aggie coaches hosted a coaching clinic this spring and I got to attend. It was really well done. It was actually the idea of the assistant coaches and Jamie empowered them and let them lead and put it on but he made a few appearances throughout the clinic. I was very impressed with all the coaches and especially Jamie. Any time any of them were talking I was scribbling it down cause it was usually so good. I hope Jamie feels like CS is home cause he is such a good person and coach. I'm sure Jeff will leave us for a promotion at some point but hopefully not til we win it all

I think that's an underrated part of all this, he built a great staff! Jeff is a young up and comer in this sport and is extremely passionate about volleyball! Lindsay Gray Walton with her success with Kentucky then as a head coach with OU! Jen Woods being an Aggie Alum and founder of Houston Skyline is so important for the recruiting process!! Just a great staff!

Jamie built a great staff and they are bringing in passionate players and teaching them the game. Passing on all of their years of experience. And have been very successful doing it. Assistant coaches usually move on, it's part of the process, but I think Jamie will stay around for awhile !!
