I think you are reading too much into that. I saw several tik toks made by players on VNL and she was in them and they seemed like friends.
I hope so! Maybe it was also because half the team is from that orange college team.

Why no post game pressers after any of the Utah matches or no pre match interview before they took off to Dallas…. THIS IS THE NUMBER 8 TEAM IN THE COUNTRY! They deserve more recognition and appreciation!

It's hard to win every match, but I have been really impressed with how the team has shown up against the good teams faced so far (ranked MN, almost ranked Rice and ranked UT). They pretty much dominated them.
It's difficult to get up for the lesser opponents like CentAR and Utah St. With CentAR, everyone looks at it going to 5 sets, but Logan and Stowers only played 3 sets and Helmuth played 4....and everyone on the roster saw playing time. And when went back to starters in 4th and 5th we dominated 25/16 & 25/7 to take the match. And then Utah St was a back-to-back game in a high school gym after beating a ranked team the night before....so I can excuse a little bit of a let down (and by let down, I mean not sweeping).
I agree that there are some areas we can clean up (serving and defense) but, overall, I've been impressed with the teams focus and early-season execution.
Calling my shot....they will be ready for SMU & TCU and will make a statement. In fact, I don't think they drop more than 2 sets between both matches!!

If we do well these next two games, I believe it will springboard our potential to what it needs to be to have an incredible season. Our defense has been lackluster in my opinion so far but part of it is due to the level of competition. The pressure the defense will face will either make them play a step faster or they will buckle.
That said, doesn't mean we won't have a good season if we lose, but it would mean we have a bit more work to do to get to our potential. I'm just talking about early season success. We could very well end up playing very well as we enter the post season.
