I didn't mention earlier after returning from the LMU game that for some reason, the first 5 rows in section 104 was poorly attended. Behind us was fine but was confused why next to us and in front of us was barely any spectators. No wonder Morrison wanted to flip the seats.

There was mention that the "coaches had given up some seats" so season ticket holders could get closer in the flip. I'm guessing there is a block of seats for coaching staff to bring in guests, such as recruits and their families. Not surprising that those seats would be mostly empty for LMU.

From my seats in row P, the reserved sections were pretty well attended for all three games. Also, I'll note that the season ticket holders are not packed in tight, at least where I sit, and that several of the seats around us are available for single game purchase.

Bottom line, empty seats in the reserved section might not be missing season ticket holders.

First RPI is out and A&M only comes in at 17. I have to admit I am surprised ton of road matches.

I am floored. But I mean schools like Miami, Illinois, Creighton, Indiana all being ahead of us is crazy. The Big Ten has 7 teams in the top 20. We just have to keep winning and let the big 10 and acc beat each other up

That is what happens when your tourney has like no top 150 teams and you havent played the tougher teams in conference yet

I'm not going to go into all of these teams ahead of us but the easiest outlier is Illinois.

They have a good win versus Purdue but lost to South Dakota State and two unranked teams (at the time).

We have 3 ranked wins and 2 losses to ranked teams as visitors.

edit: yeah, I kind of know how volleyball RPI basically works... this just doesn't meet the eye test for me.

Really need to look at Future RPI over current RPI

That means we are expected to lose 5 matches in conference and the actual SEC tourney

Utah and Missouri cratering has done A&M no favors. 7-7 Utah State (No. 68) and 7-8 Rice (No. 65) are better wins going by RPI.

This team will host the first 2 round of the tournament RPI starts mattering more when u are trying to host 4 rounds of the tournament. A win against Kentucky would help us get a big win but even then don't think this team needs it to host at all. Big 10 teams also play the RPI game me so does Creighton to try and host. Creighton issue is that they didn't win many of the tough matches they scheduled and their conference doesn't help them.

We are inside the bubble for hosting but not guarenteed

That tourney at our place did us no favors everything else is fine
