I feel strongly the exact opposite.
The Bear should air one episode per week, for ten straight weeks, and we should be discussing it all summer long.
Instead, it comes and goes and the conversation is basically over in a couple weeks later, if that, which was a hard conversation to have in the first place, seeing as everyone is watching at a different pace. Hell, if you're even halfway online, and you don't watch all ten episodes within 24 hours, you're definitely getting spoiled. Not to mention, there's no proper media coverage, podcast recaps, etc due the way people consume it.
I'm so glad that, by and large, the binge model is fading. Only Netflix and a few other shows still do it, because everyone else realized that shows have so much more of an impact/staying power, and increase eyeballs episode to episode, when episodes are released weekly.
