Interesting that neither the poster nor the article are mentioning yet that this is or could be the final season, when it's been heavily implied for years that season four would be the last. One would think that would already be a selling point, but who knows what's going on, if they have plans now for a fifth, or what.

Regardless, we should be a getting a trailer any day/week now...

Great! I love that Hulu is releasing all the episodes at once. This should be standard for all streaming platforms.

I'll make my annual complaint about them releasing all episodes at once. Really takes away from the online discussion, podcasts, and build up for the show.

Either way, looking forward to hopefully a bounce back season.

I feel strongly the exact opposite.

The Bear should air one episode per week, for ten straight weeks, and we should be discussing it all summer long.

Instead, it comes and goes and the conversation is basically over in a couple weeks later, if that, which was a hard conversation to have in the first place, seeing as everyone is watching at a different pace. Hell, if you're even halfway online, and you don't watch all ten episodes within 24 hours, you're definitely getting spoiled. Not to mention, there's no proper media coverage, podcast recaps, etc due the way people consume it.

I'm so glad that, by and large, the binge model is fading. Only Netflix and a few other shows still do it, because everyone else realized that shows have so much more of an impact/staying power, and increase eyeballs episode to episode, when episodes are released weekly.

Yep. Re-up Hulu for a few days then cancel it again.

Great points. Engaging online about a show can reveal more about the show. For example, the recent White Lotus season. After watching the recent episode, I really enjoyed reading each week about what happened and what was going to happen from other people's perspectives. It makes for a much longer "board chat."

I have never really considered the "social" aspect of watching a show for "water cooler talk." If there is a show I like, I want to be able to stream all episodes at once.

As mentioned, many people will wait until complete seasons are released to start & cancel the service.

Not a full trailer yet - more of a promo/spot - but as disappointing as season three was at times, even this quick 30 seconds gets me fired up all over again...

While I agree, I'll also say that I appreciate this approach compared to the Andor approach. At least with them dropping all 10, I know I have no chance of binging in time to be part of the online discussion, so I can watch at my own pace.

Agreed, the Andor release was horrible, proving that even with an all-time great show Disney can still **** it up.

That...and they keep you subscribed for multiple months instead of 1, which is their ultimate goal.

I wish it was standard faire, for streaming shows to always provide a recap episode of the previous year. They release so far apart, I always forget so much, and have questions when the show gets going again.

Love the usage of St. Vincent for the music in that trailer.

Weekly serial style release should have been utilized for this season :-(

Also, "St Vincent" is one of my knew you before you were famous connections, but her music does absolutely nothing to entertain me.

I always have to watch a recap on youtube for any major show for this reason. Just search "show name season X recap" and a few will pop up.

There's three or four major ones that I forget the names of, but I'm sure someone else can provide. They'll be the first results.

Thanks. I've done that before, but dont think to do it enough.

You'd think the streaming service would want to capture those views, and that time on their platform...

Goes great with the spot.

I was actually a on flight with her late last year (just after Christmas) from Dallas to Burbank. She was sitting two rows in front of me, in coach, which was surprising. Wore a hoodie over her head the entire time and no one bothered her (or even seemed to know who she was). To her left, she would talk every so often to a woman a seat over, and there was baby in the seat between them. I just assumed she was being friendly to a mom and a baby she had just met. Then, a little over a month later, I read this...

All the sudden I felt like Redstone.

That was a well kept secret, although there were definitely some people in the town who were aware.

I've been a fan of her for a while, and have also quit being bothered by bandwagoners. That line of bother faded with Rival Sons, where I was a very early fan - certainly before the truck commercials - but also behind some of the West Coast fans.

Now this looks like a return to form. Fingers crossed. The full trailer is finally here and it's a damn good one (in 4K too!)...

Awesome trailer - can't wait.

On question about last season - did we see Sydney turn down the job opportunity or was it left open ended?

Also, they haven't called this the final season, correct?

I honestly can't remember how, exactly, last season ended. I was going to rewatch the S3 finale as refresher before diving into this season.

And no, surprisingly, they haven't so far billed this as the final season, at least not in the marketing materials. Maybe an article or announcement in that regard will come in the next month, but no mentioned yet. I thought for sure that's how they would have sold it, though, so maybe plans have changed.

Yeah.... Until you realize it's just 69 minutes of ten different Fak brothers talking about haunting each other.

The holiday dinner party episode that won Jamie Lee Curtis her Emmy was unusually long too. That was one of the most exhausting, frantic episodes of television I've ever experienced. I'm ready for a repeat.

There looks to be a wedding episode at some point this season where Richie's ex-wife Tiff (Gillian Jacobs) is finally marrying Frank (Josh Hartnett). If I had to bet, that will be the 69-minute, all-the-family-is-together, holiday-dinner-party season four equivalent, but who knows.

Halfway through the season 3 rewatch and it's so much better on repeat viewing. Love it all. Except yeah way too much Fak brothers they were really trying too hard. Less Fak.

Did they embargo all reviews for the show until release? Or not send out screeners? Seems like I haven't seen a single review of S4 yet.

24 hours before the entire season drops, I haven't heard a single peep either. Not one reaction, there's been next to no anticipation... nothing. It's so weird.

My wife and I did a re-watch of season 1-3 in the last few weeks and it brought me back home. Season 3 was off to a little shaky start for me, but Napkins was probably one of the best episodes in the entire series (and the directorial debut of Ayo Edibiri).

When season 3 came out, I had been laid off for almost a year and a half and it was a very tough time for me personally (and ironically, I had been at my former employer "for 15 years...at the place that fired me"..just like Tina). At that point I had some irons in the fire and eventually landed a role, but how beautiful it was captured during that scene with Tina and Mike during their impromptu "interview" scene about how hopeless and futile Tina felt "just to feed [her] kids", it just hit me hard.

Also, I did visit the real Mr. Beef this weekend and saw Matty Matheson aka Fak's signed photo on the wall.
