I had commented on another thread that I wanted more serious punishment for hard criminal illegals than just deportation from the perspective of due justice.

However, the more I consider it, the cost of jailing these people domestically is astronomical and we already have a jail overcrowding problem. I have now reconsidered deportation as perhaps a better option for most of these harder criminals, especially if prison in a tiny African country or El Salvador for pennies on the dollar is an option.
The best way to keep evil men from wielding great power is to not create great power in the first place.

Yeah don't jail them because it's much easier for a Dem POTUS to release them all back into this country than for them to travel back here and try it again.

Hopefully sending them to random countries will teach them and everyone paying attention that you should immigrate into our country LEGALLY. I know, what a concept.

Now the Dems are warning it would harm military readiness and urging Republicans to join them in helping reverse it. Well, when you build a reputation for not prosecuting, it sends the wrong message to billions around the world. Lady thought she'd spend $1k on a trip to the US and steal a few grand in the process. It makes business sense to do so if it's as lawless as it was during the Biden admin. She chose the wrong jurisdiction.
