It is not alleged in these articles that Homan told the FBI agents that he had been informed he was going to be nominated to serve if Trump was elected. Saying you are going to help clients win contracts in exchange for money isn't bribery if you aren't a government employee and it isn't conspiracy unless Homan told tham that he was going to be a government employee and use his authority to subvert the FAR or corrupt the sourse selection process.

What criminal act is being alleged? The pretense of the article it that whenever this meeting allegedly took place during September 2024 that Homan had already been told that Trump would nominate him for border Czar. Homan could well have been planning to continue working as a consultant or lobbyist. It's public knowlesge that Homan was a paid consultant for GEO Group which runs prisons in 2024. He wasn't nominated till November 2024.

Given what we know about the FBI's behavior in initiating Crossfire Hurricane even before Trump was the nominee in 2016, the idea that Chris Wray would try to manufacture evidence of non-crimes on potential Trump 47 nominees and feed it to the deep state media outlets isn't surprising at all.

Strangely, there isn't an allegation that Homan failed to declare the $50k in revenue on his tax return. Even if there was, Trump could grant the same grace to Homan that Barack Obama gave to his Treasury secretary nominee, Tim Geithner, who was delinquent paying his federal income tax when he was testifying at his confirmation hearing.

This story is an act of desperation. They are having to run stories about their failed operations to dirty-up Trump appointees before they were even nominated.

So the Biden Regime tried to entrap Homan before he was again a part of the Trump Administration. If Homan accepted payment with a promise for future consideration then he should resign or be fired.

IF there had been anything to this when the Biden (*) FBI investigated this last year, and one believes that they then did/said nothing when he was nominated for his present role, shut down his company, and passed a background check then, this year, you lack critical reasoning skills, imho.
