Trump is a businessman and all these world leaders, just like our past Presidents and congressmen, haven't worked a day of their lives in the private sector. They couldn't tell you the difference between a spreadsheet and a bed sheet.will25u said:

It's why they can all talk tough publicly but when their business leaders get them in a private meeting they tell them to STFU and capitulate because they need access to the American market. They don't play in the pretend world of politics.

Those companies came make them here novel concept
We manufacture both in the US and overseas. If we were to move our overseas production to the US, it would cost a ton of capital and the overall retail prices of those products would be around 4X what they are now. The products we make here are still hurt by tariffs since US steel companies raise their prices with each round of tariffs on foreign steel. So yes it can be done, but the US consumers will be able to afford far less. This leads to lower sales at retail which leads to retailers going out of business and job losses there.HoustonAg9999 said:ETFan said:Consumer electronics aren't coming back to America.HoustonAg9999 said:No Spin Ag said:Please tell us that China and any country from which we get our tech and auto stuff are in that 50.nortex97 said:BREAKING: U.S. NATIONAL ECONOMIC COUNCIL DIRECTOR KEVIN HASSETT SAYS MORE THAN 50 COUNTRIES HAVE REACHED OUT TO WHITE HOUSE TO BEGIN TRADE NEGOTIATIONS

A lot of those complaining fit nicely under the All hat and no cattle moniker. Y'all were all about Trump for the last 8 years. Now that he is literally doing what he said he was going to do, and it happens to be negatively effecting you monetarily (in the short term) you're all pissy and moaning and *****ing. How do you think family members of those deported feel? Should those stop as well because of hurt feelings? Is it lack of principles, hypocrisy, or just complaining because something that needs to be done for the betterment of our country is painful to you right now.
A little short term pain for long term relief is part of life. It's called delayed gratification. All the actions taken by the Trump administration need to happen. Y'all gonna be OK.
No, pointing out that actions that need to be taken for the betterment of our country can be painful to some in the short term. Get over it.infinity ag said:Spotted Ag said:
