The problem with the pro sports revenue model is a lot of the cost gets socialized. Even though I don't watch, some portion of it will get wrapped into my Youtube TV subscription, multiplied by millions of others who don't watch but get the joy of indirectly paying something for it.
They can act like brats and get away with it because they'll still get paid.
Very different than the individual employee and boss relationship, where that kind of behavior will send you packing in a New York minute.
Unfortunately college sports is going the same way
