I know... I was joking too. I'm glad to see that historic Aggie recruiting class getting some draft love... Lord knows we completely pissed it away.
But some serious draft talk... I cannot believe Indy sat there at 14 and got Warren. I knew they liked him and, as a Cowboys fan, thought maybe they would trade up with us to get him.

I know snagging an elite TE is more advantageous than it used to be, and I know how good Bowers was in his rookie season, but I don't quite see the same thing from Loveland or Warren. I'll probably be wrong in one of their cases but a top 15 pick on either guy seemed like a stretch to me.

if you weren't looking at him through Prime's gold-tinted lenses, Sanders was pretty clearly a hypertrained quarterbackthe kind who can fool you into thinking he is a high-floor prospect because he understands how to operate a pro-level passing game, but lacks the physical tools to actually pull it off in the NFL.

I think the surprise for me in him not going in the first, is a team not wanting that 5th year rookie controlled contract with a first round pick. With a QB that is huge
that team control doesnt matter when the QB isn't that good, and has a ton of baggage issues. I honestly don't know who has it worse - Sanders crashing out of the first round or Hunter getting drafted by the Jaguars and their long history of being totally inept.
Weird stat: Shedeur Sanders is 1st player in college football history to have his number retired & not be selected 5 days later in NFL Draft's 1st round
