Maybe this has happened already, but if I was the UFL, I would call my investors and figure out how to sign Shedeur to a contract with the league and get him playing on a team that needs QB help right now. Say what you want about Shedeur, but there is a lot of media attention around him right now, and a league like the UFL could use that attention. And for Shedeur, I think this makes more sense than signing with an NFL team to be a backup and sit on the bench for four years.

Meh, their QB room is a mess and Flacco is not a long term answer. They need the additional competition to figure out who their starting and backup QBs will be this year and which of these rookies is worth developing.
