I'd say it mostly was his fault. All he did was drop back and wait and wait and wait and try to avoid sacks while fading backwards and hitting guys no longer running passing routes.

At one point, I thought Deion was going to do great things for a college program that needed a compass. Now, it feels like he's starting to check out. He was in it for the 'daddy-ball'. Now that his boys are done playing college ball, what's his motivation?

If it was 2015, New England taking a flyer on him as a backup / maybe future would be the No Brainer answer

Today - maybe the Steelers or Ravens or Chiefs or Eagles -franchises with an unbreakable culture or with so much on their recent resume that dad/son have 0 leverage

And hey, the guys genes are unquestionably there, his dad was an elite NFL player that also played baseball… are Kyler and Kevin really that much better or a combo?

I admire his talent and appreciate his personal work ethic as an athlete.

But he clearly has a hard time staying on point. Hard to decry how it's all about money when your son is best known for showing off his high dollar watch on the field.

Steelers know they're getting Rodgers. And if they don't they can call Tannehill to reunite with Arthur Smith or trade for cousins and pay $20M of his contract. All 3 of those are probably the same chance of success and all 3 are a bridge

Not really. No one wants to deal with him. He's not nfl ready on day 1, and no one wants to deal with the BS of having him sit and learn. He and his dad think his **** doesn't stink, but unfortunately for him, everyone else can smell it.

I'm thinking what killed Sanders is the reports that he was arrogant and talked down to other potential draft picks in addition to teams. I think teams can brush aside some attitude when a player is talking to them, but looking down on potential teammates is usually a hard no in the NFL
