Yeah, just to taunt everyone. WC got 16" and should still be mostly open. Drive over there. Bet it is a zoo, people getting a last couple of good days in.

Telluride opening back up this weekend only - 3 lifts and no beginner terrain. Pretty cool.

Need opinions and feedback on those that know about this program. We know we'll go ski next year for 3 days. We typically purchase the ikon session pass, it's on sale now and I know they increase their pricing periodically until the season starts.

We have 2 kids out of ski school and between 2nd and 6th grade. Should we consider buying the Colorado Ski Passport that goes on sale in August or stick with the ikon session? I don't know anything about it other than you can also purchase a parent pass. If anyone has more info or suggestion, feel free to pass on your knowledge.

The passport is the best deal going. You can only buy one companion/parent per address so maybe register one of your kids at a grandparents house or something so you and wife can each get the deal. We messed that up this year and my wife got the parent pass and I just bought the card. I think all it did was save me $2 on a purg lift ticket over buying online a day or two before

Get them power passes too, just cuz it's free

Unlimited pass to Purgatory and some others. It is free for kids 12 and under.

If you're in Texas and your kids mountain bike, it also gets them free access to Spider Mountain.

And along those lines, a 4 day adult passes(with blackout dates) to Purgatory are like $300. Add kids with Power Passes and you've got 4 days for the whole family for $600. Tough to beat.

Colorado Ski Passport is going to have some major changes this year. I won't jump the gun on them, but the restrictions are going to be far more stringent and a majority of passes sold last year won't be eligible for renewal because of the new restrictions. The price point is also going to significantly rise and the cross over between Ikon and CSP will be far less. You can thank Aspen Ski Co for that one. I mean it was kinda too good to be true… less than $400 for a kid AND adult unlimited at Snowmass wasn't long term feasible when regular Ski Co passes are $1400/600 and Ikon is $1100/500. It's gonna be more Pajarito/Az Snow Bowl/Powderhorn and less major mountains like Aspen Ski Co Telluride etc. Meaning far less useful as a cross over pass than previously.

They're also going really PO some people because by August 1 the Epic and Ikon will be significsntly more costly. Alot of people are gonna get put behind the 8 ball when they announce the changes.

We likely WONT be buying the CSP this season if the proponed changes are fully implemented.

Hoping this class action antitrust suit against Vail and Alterra actually happens.
