What y'all think of this watch?
Oh I am learning the Rolex watch market is such a game. If you can buy one new through Rolex you can turn around and sell it for 20% more. So wait 1-3 years or pay more now.

I like the look, but they wear really big at >50mm lug to lug. For the same price range with a similar style that doesn't wear like a dinner plate, I'd look at the IWC Ingenieur.

Hey QV, can we get a pic of the watch collection in total?

Congrats, you'll love it.
I bought one of the 40mm when they came out a few years ago, allegedly got the first white dial in TX. I still enjoy it and it's probably my second most common wear.

I'm just starting to learn about watches...
I'm looking for either a Rolex Sub or Daytona....
How do I know if I'm getting a good deal?

Going straight into the deep end. If you're just getting started, I'd suggest finding what size/styles you like. There are lots of options that are less expensive to start and get a better idea of what you really like, then you can splurge on your first high end watch (seems like it's always a first, never a last).

Honestly, I'm just learning. Been enjoying the NYC hustlers on YouTube and their knowledge of watches....

If you go Daytona as your first high end watch, you are basically hitting the cycle with your first at bat.
This would be memorable.

We grew up with nothing and I'm out of my depth and domain. Who knows if I'll even splurge on anything but I am enjoying the learning process.
That being said.... I'm digging the Daytona.... The Daytona Ghost looks particularly cool.

How do you hit for the cycle in 1 at bat?
