I think the usual timeline would be ~3 weeks from now given the fact that he's taking BP, but given the slow nature of the process and setbacks he's had I'd put it at 50/50 that he returns for the regular season. And as MAS444 noted, who knows what he'll look like when he's back.
I'd peg it at:
- 5% chance he returns to Astros in August
- 25% chance before mid-September
- 50% by end of September
At least we should have a good idea on Yordan this coming week on if there's a chance of returning.
