In about 10 seconds there were like 6 fouls between both teams. Any one of them could have been called.

CP isn't bad at all but Berhalter as been great and I would rather have CP there to get a rebound

I would rate Pulisic as "serviceable". For years, he was the least bad option on the team.

However, don't you want your best weapon close to the goal and receiving set pieces?

CP is at best solid, imo.
For whatever reason, he just struggles to deliver from set pieces as opposed to run of play.
He had a few games where he was starting to deliver decent set pieces, but hes nowhere close to the level of what Berhalter and McGlynn have shown.... and I want Pulisic lurking in the box, he has a knack for getting to the ball

Since Stanley Cup just finished, I'll use the analogy.

We need to fore-check Mexican backline and goaltender. Make them go long from the back.
