I like Congo's uniforms very much - nice change of pace with a baby blue instead of all the navy and royal blue we usually see

CR7 aside, very surprising all those talented midfielders and wingers on Portugal couldn't produce more. Very Spain-like in their great technical skill and tactical awareness to have 77% possession.. but they posses just to posses and didn't create opportunities with all that possession.

He is still super fit and a great striker.. but this possession style approach on Portugal doesn't play direct or forward enough so he doesn't have to make a lot of runs. If I'm Portugal, i'm looking for through balls to get Leao or a winger running onto the ball towards goal or something. CR7 just sets up in the box and hopes for service to his head or something.

I'm kinda surprised Portugal hired the coach who squandered Belgium's golden generation.

I'm not at all surprised that they still trot CR7 out there despite having better options now.

They probably won't get grouped, but I could easily see them getting dumped in R32.

This is what I see also. Looked like Spain and 1st half France. Just meh.

Both those anthems were kind of a mess musically. The Latin American countries have these militaristic sounding anthems that their fans love belting out, but they're just not very good songs.
