He's literally defending the trade and talking about how Luka wasn't good at defense, turned it over too much, was overweight, etc. Did he and Mary go in a travel trip with Nico?

And then he defended only talking to the lakers and not letting teams get into a bidding war. Monty and DJ were obviously pointing out to him how dumb that was. And then he said we didn't need a point guard. We needed a specific player. We needed a power forward, obviously. What in the literal ****. No, we definitely did not need a PF. We had Lively and gafford and PJ. And we had no playmakers whatsoever other than Kyrie. So yes we did need a guard or playmaker.

I know hes likely getting senile. But it was so weird. None of his talking points made sense and it's the first person ive heard that seemed to echo all the dumbass Nico talking points.

The mavericks went 10 years without winning a playoff series before they hired Nico Harrison in 2021.
They've won 5 playoff series under Nico and are finally getting high quality free agents.

52-30 is the best record the Mavs ever had under Luka.
The Rockets moved off of James Harden and the Mavs moved off of Luka.

Luka and James Harden are pretty much the same player. Amazing offensive talents that are weak defensively because they are pudgy.
