1. 10 of 11 guys thought it was important to play. Bryson wanted to play but couldn't, so really 11 of 12.

2. There was less time in between the tour championship and the Ryder cup in 2021.

By a couple of weeks
I just don't think it's that big of a deal. It's playing off the result of last time because they didn't play. Most of the team also got sick that week, but we don't talk about that.

If Xander decides not to play, I'm trusting he's doing what's best for his own prep.

He didn't make it to Atlanta and was off all season due to the early season rib injury. I wish he would play. Hes also very vocal about the money and all that so it's easy to assume the RC may not be a priority for him.
