How many terrorist attacks on planes did you see?
I know of at least one that was prevented soon after 9/11

In the US, there was one incident where the perpetrator, Richard Reid, smuggled explosives in the soles of his shoes and tried to ignite it with a lighter. That was prevented in-flight by the flight attendant i.e. TSA screening failed to catch the exploaives.

There was a second case in 2009 where an Al Qaeda terrorist from Nigeria, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, on an inbound flight from Amsterdam to Detroit smuggled TATP (and PETN) onto a plane. He was known as the underwear bomber because he sowed the explosivea into his underwear. Abdulmutallab only succeeded in setting himself and his seat on fire. TATP is very unstable and is a liquid explosive that has to be mixed shortly before it is used. It has a tendency to detonate unexpectedly as it is being made. Al Qaeda called TATP the "Mother of Satan."

It wasn't TSA who missed the bomb but since TATP is made fron clear liquids, acetone and hydrogen peroxide, TSA banned it..

Abdulmutallab is the only case before or since in the US or any other country where a liquid explosive was used or planned to be used to blow up an aircraft. It's ridiculous that TSA banned all liquids from being brought through the screening checkpoint. The only people who benefit from this policy are the airport concessions vendors who sell small water bottles for $4 each.

May be an unpopular opinion, but as someone that flies regularly I would rather they ban all liquids than TSA holding up the process to randomly test liquids, which would be the likely alternative.

I have left pocketknives in trash cans all over the world because I kept forgetting to just put the damn thing in my checked bag.

Obama Judge trying to block ICE is married to a Soros acolyte open borders lobbyist.

Quote:

The Obama judge who blocked the Trump administrations ICE raids is the husband of a far-left open borders activist.

On Monday, U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang ruled in favor of a lawsuit filed by left-wing activists seeking to prohibit ICE from conducting raids in churches where many illegal aliens hide from authorities.
"The substantial burden that the [Trump administration] policy is far from speculative and is already occurring," Chuang wrote in his ruling.

"It is reasonable to expect that such enforcement actions will occur at Plaintiffs' place of worship where DHS specifically stated in its press release announcing the 2025 policy that 'criminals will no longer be able to hide in America's schools and churches to avoid arrest,'" he continued.

Natalie Winters, a co-host of Steve Bannon's War Room podcast, did some digging and revealed that Chuang's wife, Jacinta Ma, is the Vice President of National Immigration Forum (NIF), a pro-open borders advocacy group.

The organization promotes policies such as a mass amnesty for illegal aliens and works on putting out propaganda about the supposedly massive contributions made by illegal aliens to the U.S. economy.
The group's largest donor is the Open Society Foundations, which is funded by the liberal billionaire George Soros.
Commie judges need to be disciplined and impeached/disbarred for these kinds of obvious violations of the code of judicial conduct. Of course, George L. Russell III, Chief District Judge of the District of Maryland, is responsible for assignment (and possible removal). Appointed by Obama in 2012, so we know that won't happen.

The Executive Director of NIF is, as one might expect a Berkeley son of Pakistani immigrants, Ali Noorani. Aspen Global Leadership Network, lol, needless to say an epicenter of illegal alien invasion chatter/planning.

Hopefully, it's fire them today.

And then bring criminal charges in the near future.

It's the only thing than can stem the tide of these bureaucratic lawbreakers.

It's only 2,400 miles from the border to Guatemala. Easy days walk, two if you walk slowly.

It takes time/energy/effort/money for them to get back to the US if they put them towards the south of Mexico.

And about securing the border... It is a lot better now. So less and less will be willing to make the trip a second time.

I am just saying if they are willing they will come.

They can put on the border or sit further south. If the border is tighter then it is not an issue. Catches are at an all time low.

NEW: A CBP official tells
@FoxNews
that since Trump's inauguration, 1,650 Mexican illegal aliens have been deported deep into the interior of MX on 14 DHS removal flights. 1,308 of them came from Border Patrol arrests at the southern border. CBP says the Trump admin is flying these Mexican illegal aliens deep into Mexico rather than having them bussed back across the river, with the goal being they want to make it as difficult as possible for them to get back to the border and try crossing again.

The US consulate in Nuevo Laredo just put out a warning to migrants, alerting them that DHS is flying illegal aliens as far south into Mexico as the border with Guatemala, and any illegal crossings will be met with "immediate and permanent deportation."

"Illegal entry is not a trial and error process," a CBP official tells me. "Deportation is final, you don't get to try again tomorrow or in a few hours. Certainty of release is over, there is now certainty of arrest, detention, and removal."

It makes great sense to put them as far from the border as possible. Every decision has an opportunity cost and making it more arduous and difficult to get back to the border is a deterrent. The absence of funding from NGOs and the tacit support of the Mexican government makes it harder for them to get back from the interior of Mexico to the border. Enjoy Chiapas MoFos.

Dropping them off in Juarez or Tijuana is stupid and turns it into a game of repetition.

I also remember what they did with that data a few years later.

Hopeful development.

Just a reminder that illegal border crossings are down more than 90% compared to 2024.
